GRS Achieves GCSA Site Certification

We are thrilled to announce that Genesis Research Services has achieved certification with GCSA – The Global Quality Standard for Clinical Research Sites, awarded by the International Accrediting Organization for Clinical Research (IAOCR)!

Through achieving GCSA Site Certification, Genesis is leading the way in setting benchmarks for research excellence and demonstrating strong leadership in clinical trial global quality standards, both in Australia and internationally.  

Principal Investigator Deon Smith explains “The clinical trials space is a highly pressurised, fast-paced environment. With the rise of young and increasingly commercialised clinical trial sites in Australia and globally, there is a growing need for formal assessment of site business operational processes and capability to conduct studies efficiently and in line with ICH-GCP guidelines. The GCSA certification process gave us the opportunity to reaffirm that our processes and procedures meet international standards, and this was achieved through hard work and collaboration with the Genesis team, with minimal adjustments required”.

The GCSA Global Quality Standard for Clinical Research Sites is the industry’s only internationally recognized quality standard developed specifically for clinical trial sites. The certification journey includes an evidence-based and robust assessment of a site’s business operational processes which underpin the delivery of high-quality trails and exemplary patient and sponsor experiences.  The certification journey is both supportive and collaborative, empowering sites to embed global practice standards to support consistent delivery of the highest quality clinical research. The GCSA quality standard was developed in close consultation with a Global Advisory Board of industry leaders made up of opinion leaders and experts from across the international clinical research industry to ensure alignment with international best practice. GCSA Certification signifies independent assurance of quality which provides confidence to patients, sponsors, and CROs that trials are conducted to world-class standards.
