Dom BaileyChief Executive Officer
Dom has studied Nursing, Occupational Health and Safety and Clinical Trials Research at
University and is a highly experienced healthcare professional having worked extensively in both public hospitals and private companies. With a focus on business development, innovation and sustainability, Dom’s professional goal is to provide simple plans and modern project management for clinical research business success.
Dr Danielle Santarelli PhDMedical Writer/Researcher
Danielle is a medical writer with a PhD in molecular neurobiology / experimental pharmacology (University of Newcastle). Since completing her thesis by publication and leaving the laboratory, she has worked alongside Dr Marc Russo at Hunter Pain Clinic and Genesis Research Services, performing patient data analysis and publishing journal articles and educational material.
Katie HartClinical Trial Coordinator
Katie is a clinical trial coordinator at Genesis Research Services who assists in project management of clinical investigations whilst upholding evidenced-base participant care. Her responsibilities include managing all operational aspects of medical and device research studies as well as development of innovative projects involving our local research network. Prior to Genesis, Katie worked in community pharmacy as a Pharmacist, delivering holistic care and support to patients. She is an advocate for patient education on disease prevention and the proper use of medicines. Outside of work, Katie enjoys baking and cooking, travelling and spending time with her family. She has a Bachelor of Biomedical Science and a Masters of Pharmacy from Newcastle University and is accredited to provide medication reviews.
Tiana LaurieAdministrative Assistant
Tiana is the administration assistant at Genesis Research Services and the first person you see when you enter our office – she oversees the reception desk & duties as well as helping out other team members. Tiana began working at Genesis in 2012 as the Trainee Administration Assistant and has since gained a Certificate III in Business. She is currently working towards completing a Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Development. Away from work Tiana can be found dancing or spending time at home with her dog – “Clutch” & cat – “James Baxter”.
Mel GoldmanRecruitment and Feasibility Specialist
Mel has experience in operations management, contract negotiations and financial accountability which is supported by her Bachelor of Business Management Degree. Mel’s interests lie in the development and improvement of progressive services for clients as well as supporting the participant journey to enrol in a study. Her role as the Feasibility and Recruitment Specialist enables her to match the most appropriate clinical trial projects with suitable candidates to ensure business efficiency. Mel oversees the contract negotiations for successful study start-up, manages study finances and takes great pride in her role in the team to ensure Genesis delivers on study outcomes through innovative recruitment
